Krithi Sriram was born in Durango, Colorado, but calls a variety of cities around the world her home. She spent her elementary school years living in Mumbai, India – an experience that inspired her interests in international affairs. Krithi is interested in gender politics in international affairs and looking into how gender systems and structures influence a country’s foreign policy. Outside of SIR, Krithi is a member of the 21-23 Dean’s Scholars Cohort and does a lot of volunteering through the Nashman Center. She is also part of GW Raas, the university’s premier Raas Garba team (they placed third in the nation last year!!).
